Issues

Eti-Osa is one of the most vibrant and important communities in Lagos, filled with hardworking families, talented youth, and thriving businesses. Yet much of its potential is held back by leadership that fails to listen and policies that favor the few over the many.

Ayodele Adio is running for the Lagos State House of Assembly with a clear, practical plan built on six strong commitments — real solutions shaped by the voices and needs of the people of Eti-Osa.

Fair Rents & Affordable Housing

Housing in Eti Osa is becoming unaffordable for working people. Rents are rising faster than incomes, and excessive agency and legal fees make moving nearly impossible. I will fight for fair rent policies, caps on exploitative fees, stronger tenancy protections, and practical solutions that expand affordable housing — so teachers, nurses, entrepreneurs, and young families can live in the communities they serve.

Efficient & Affordable Public Transportation

Traffic steals our time, productivity, and quality of life. We need reliable, affordable, and well-connected public transportation that works for working people. I will push for expanded and integrated transport systems that reduce commute times, lower transport costs, and make it easier to move around Eti Osa and Lagos safely and efficiently.

₦50 Billion Creative Economy Fund

Eti Osa is home to some of Nigeria’s most talented young creatives in film, music, fashion, tech, content creation, and design. I will champion a ₦50 billion Creative Economy Fund to provide grants, low-interest loans, workspaces, and business support for young people. We can turn creativity into jobs, exports, and global influence if we invest intentionally.

Public Parks & Youth Centers

Young people need safe spaces to gather, learn, play, and grow. Families need green spaces that improve health and community life. I will advocate for more public parks, modern youth centers, sports facilities, and community hubs across Eti Osa because strong communities are built in shared spaces.

Child Care Support for Working Mothers

Working mothers should not have to choose between earning a living and caring for their children. I will push for accessible and affordable childcare support, incentives for workplace crèches, and community-based childcare programs that make it easier for women to participate fully in our economy.

Legal Protection for Young People

Too many young people face harassment, intimidation, and extortion. Justice should not depend on who you know or what you can afford. I will support policies that provide accessible legal representation for young people who are unlawfully harassed or extorted, and push for accountability and reforms that protect citizens’ rights.

Your Voice. Your Community.
Your Government.

Fairness. Opportunity. Accountability.

Ayodele Adio is running to ensure every decision, every project, and every Naira spent reflects the people of Eti-Osa. Together, we can create a fairer, safer, and more prosperous community.
