Terms and Conditions
The rules for using this website, donating and sending us information.
Last updated: November 4, 2026
These terms apply to everyone who uses this website, which is run by Adio for Eti-Osa Campaign (“the campaign”, “we”, “us”) for the campaign of Ayodele Adio for the Lagos State House of Assembly, Eti-Osa Constituency II. By using the site you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Using the site
You may browse, read, share links to and download material from this site for your own information and for discussing the campaign. Please do not use the site in a way that breaks the law, harms other people or interferes with how it works.
Acceptable conduct
When you use the site or send us anything, you must not:
- pretend to be someone else, or send information about another person without their permission;
- send anything unlawful, threatening, hateful, defamatory, obscene, or that incites violence;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, its accounts or its data, or introduce malicious code;
- send automated or bulk submissions, or scrape the site in a way that affects its performance;
- use the site to offer, request or arrange anything that would break electoral law, including buying or selling votes.
We may remove content, block access or report activity to the authorities where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect people or the site.
Intellectual property
The campaign name and logo, the photographs, videos and written material on this site belong to the campaign or are used with permission. You may share them for non-commercial purposes with a credit to the campaign and a link to this site, as long as you do not alter them in a misleading way, suggest that we endorse you, or use them for another candidate or party. Anything else needs our written permission. News articles from other publications remain the property of their publishers and are credited where they appear.
Content and accuracy
The site sets out the candidate’s views, plans and campaign activities. Plans may change as the campaign listens to residents and as circumstances change. We work to keep information accurate, but we do not guarantee that everything is complete or up to date. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or professional advice. Content in languages other than English is translated; if a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
Links to other sites
We link to other websites, including news outlets, YouTube and social networks. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Donations
- Donations are voluntary gifts to support the campaign. They do not buy any service, favour or influence.
- You must give your true name and contact details, and give only your own money. Please do not donate on behalf of someone else.
- Donations must comply with Nigeria’s electoral laws, including the Electoral Act 2026 and the regulations of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and the limits they set on what one person or organisation may give to a candidate. We may decline, hold or return any donation that we believe we cannot lawfully accept, that we cannot verify, or that comes from a source we are not allowed to accept funds from.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider under its own terms. We never see or store your card or bank details.
- Because donations fund campaign work straight away, they are not normally refundable. If you made a mistake, or believe a payment was taken without your permission, write to campaign@adioforetiosa.com as soon as possible and we will review it.
- We keep donation records for as long as the law requires and may have to report them to the authorities.
Information you send us
When you send us an application, message or other information, you confirm that it is accurate and yours to share. You allow us to use it to respond to you and for the purposes described in the Privacy Policy. Joining the movement is also covered by the Movement and Submission Terms.
Availability
We aim to keep the site available and secure, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. We may change or remove parts of the site at any time.
Our liability
To the extent allowed by Nigerian law, we are not liable for any loss arising from using, or being unable to use, this site or sites linked from it, or from relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and, where relevant, Lagos State. The courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
