Movement and Submission Terms
What joining the movement means, how volunteers are expected to act, and the terms for every form on this site.
Last updated: November 4, 2026
These terms apply when you send us any form on this site: the Join Our Movement application, the contact form or the donation form. They sit alongside the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
Who can apply
You must be 18 or older to join the movement or send us a form. You can live anywhere; most volunteering happens in Eti-Osa, but there are ways to help from elsewhere in Lagos, across Nigeria and abroad.
What joining means
- Applying is an expression of interest in volunteering with the campaign of Ayodele Adio. It is not membership of a political party and does not register you to vote.
- We will confirm that we received your application by email and contact you within 3 business days. The confirmation is not an acceptance: we read every application and talk with you about how you could take part.
- Volunteering is unpaid unless we agree otherwise in writing. Volunteering does not create employment or any other contract.
- You can stop volunteering at any time. We may decline an application, or end someone’s involvement, for example if these terms are not respected.
How volunteers are expected to act
When you take part in the campaign, you agree to:
- be honest, peaceful and respectful to everyone: residents, other campaigns, election officials and the police;
- follow the law, including Nigeria’s electoral laws and INEC rules, and never offer, accept or arrange money or gifts in exchange for votes;
- never use or encourage violence, intimidation, hate speech or misinformation;
- speak for the campaign only in the ways the team has agreed with you, and never claim to hold a role you have not been given;
- never collect money in the campaign’s name unless the team has authorised you in writing;
- protect the personal information of residents and other volunteers that you see, and use it only for the campaign task you were given.
Accuracy
Please give accurate information and let us know if it changes. Do not send information about another person without their permission.
How we will contact you
We will contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email about your application or message. We will only send campaign news by email if you ticked the box asking for it, and every email has an unsubscribe link.
Messages and donations
- Contact form: we use your details to reply to you. We may not be able to reply to every message individually, but we read them all.
- Donation form: the donation section of the Terms and Conditions applies, including the rules that follow from Nigeria’s electoral laws.
Your information
How we use, protect and delete what you send is explained in the Privacy Policy. You can ask us to delete your application or message at any time by writing to campaign@adioforetiosa.com.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
